DR. NELSON L. NOGGLE
Dr. Nelson L. Noggle, born December 25th 1938, passed away peacefully at home in Oceanside, CA on Friday January 12, 2024 after a long battle with a heart condition and blood cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Catherine Noggle. He is survived by his beautiful wife Karen Noggle, daughter Tammy (Mike) Raynor, son Josh (Sara) Noggle and grandchildren Kevin Spruill, Eric Spruill, Luke (Kassy) Raynor, Andrew (Cayla) Raynor, Bryan Raynor, Kristina (Kevin) Sullivan, Marianne (Dustin) Kaste, Kathryn (Robert) Prado, Rebecca Raynor, and Rita Raynor. He also leaves behind 26 great grandchildren. Nelson was an educator, researcher, and published author. After receiving his masters at University of Dayton, he earned his Ph.D. in educational psychology from Florida State University. Nelson spent over 30 years focusing on understanding how adults motivate children, youth, and other adults. He published his book “Beyond the Box” in 2015 and spent any chance he could educating and inspiring those around him. When you left a conversation with Nelson, you always felt empowered, valued, and loved. He spoke of love with great force and never missed a chance to talk about the love of his life, Karen. Married on March 25, 1982, they were together until the very end. Nelson took great pride in being a father and the admiration for his children was something he continuously shared. His grandchildren were one of his greatest blessings and he always valued the time he had with them. Nelson lived a full life with travels, an outstanding career, writing, and sharing his impactful spirituality with everyone he encountered. He was wise, loved our Lord, and left an impact on many lives.
