Donna Grayson Saldivar Handly

Donna Grayson Doepke Saldivar Handly, age 75, of Oceanside, California passed away from colon cancer on August 11th 2024, surrounded by a small gathering of loving family and friends. Donna was born in San Pedro, California on April 5, 1949, the daughter of Mary Franco Barraza and Norbert Grayson Doepke. She moved with her mother to San Jose when she was a young child and pursued mischief at every opportunity which she never outgrew. She was a contradiction in traits: both outgoing and private, fierce, and gentle. Donna is mourned by her only living child Veronica Saldivar Bernal and her son-in-law Thomas Bernal. She is survived by her brother Dan Carasco, her only sibling. Now at eternal rest, we pray her soul is at peace and enveloped by love. A small private memorial will be held.
