WILLIAM ALBERT LAKE

William Albert Lake, 84, of San Diego, California passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023. William, fondly known as Bill, was born on August 12, 1938, in Chicago, IL.

  As a young man, Bill relocated to Los Angeles. He began work for a major airline, a career that lasted over three decades. Through mutual friends, Bill met Mary Ann. They married and resided in San Diego. Together, they proudly raised their two children. Bill appreciated the simple pleasures.  He enjoyed watching sports, dining out, and vacationing in Hawaii with family.

 Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann Lake (née Baca); father, William Lake Sr.; mother, Katherine Lake (née Kisch); and sister, Dolores Lake. Bill is survived by his son, David Lake; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Bishop; and grandchildren, Owen and Ava Bishop.
