TYRONE DENNIS COX

TYRONE DENNIS COX January 20, 1939 – February 24, 2022

Tyrone Dennis Cox passed away peacefully at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, California on February 24, 2022. Tyrone was born in Walhalla, North Dakota on January 20, 1939. Ty is survived by his wife Peggy Hutchinson Cox; son Jason Michael Cox, daughter-in-law Victoria Ryan Cox and two granddaughters Ellie Ryan Cox and Peyja Ryan Cox. Sister-in-law Mary Pilcicki; brother-in-law Charles Michael Hutchinson and wife Mary Ellen Hutchinson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his father Albert Cox, mother Jean Hewitt Cox;

sister Wilma Gainer, and brother Albert Cox.

Ty served 4 years in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge.

Ty retired from Ace Hardware Corporation and spent many of his retirement years actively involved in Christian ministry and as a volunteer Chaplin at Mercy San Juan Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in San Diego, California. Friends are welcome to attend.
